Hi everyone! I’m Millie, and I’m here to share my weight loss journey with you. After struggling with my weight for most of my adult years, I finally decided to take control of my health in September 2019.
After 8 months of hard work and dedication, I achieved the incredible feat of losing 80 pounds! I’m now working even harder to keep the weight off,
I didn’t follow a specific diet – instead, I ate whole foods, avoided highly processed foods, and tried intermittent fasting.
Exercise was also key. I worked out 6-7 days a week doing cardio or aerobic activities like walking, running, counting steps, riding a stationary bike, doing water aerobics, and some strength and resistance training. I’m not perfect but I aim for consistency, not perfection.
I know that weight gain is very complex and weight loss is even more complex. What works for one person may not work for another. I started this weight loss blog to share my story, weight loss tips, strategies, and advice with others. You’ll only get weight loss information that is based on research and science.
